What is this website all about?
On October 8th, 2009 the NBC network decided to cancel the critically acclaimed show Southland, two weeks before its 2nd season was due to start, and put Dateline NBC in its timeslot with no explanation. This was after six episodes of the show were already filmed, and four of those had been viewed and approved by NBC executives.
For me and a lot of fans of the show, this was the final straw. It’s time to draw a line in the sand and stand up for the future of scripted television! This is where the fight begins!

This is not just about a “just another cancelled TV show”; it’s all about saving scripted TV and all of the jobs that are being lost to reality TV. The actors, writers, stagehands, etc… Potentially thousands of lives effected besides the fans when a show like this is cancelled and replaced by a network to show the same old thing night after night. It’s time to rise up and take a stand!
